Welcome!

I am a 6th year economics PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh. I am on the 2025-2026 job market.

My research interests are broadly in labor economics and political economy. I study these topics in historical settings, using archival microdata and modern causal methods to illuminate the institutional roots of todayโ€™s labor market and political inequities across gender and race.

I am currently most interested in disenfranchised groups in the US and their agency, with ongoing research on school desegregation during the Civil Rights Era and womenโ€™s political and labor market movements during the 19th and early 20th centuries.
