I am a 6th year economics PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh. I am on the 2025-2026 job market.
My research interests are broadly in labor economics and political economy. I study these topics in historical settings, using archival microdata and modern causal methods to illuminate the institutional roots of todayโs labor market and political inequities across gender and race.
I am currently most interested in disenfranchised groups in the US and their agency, with ongoing research on school desegregation during the Civil Rights Era and womenโs political and labor market movements during the 19th and early 20th centuries.
